Happy Hump Day.  Enjoy the new drawing.

I have a good friend who was laid off yesterday, effective as of today. I can’t imagine what that must be like, to walk in to your office on Monday and be told that it was your last day – no ifs, ands, or buts, and not because of any gross misconduct on your part.

I’m married with two dogs (our kids at this point). While we’re not near the poverty line , I can say with some level of confidence that if my wife or I were suddenly laid off, we’d be on the fast track to working at McDonald’s to make ends meet.

Here’s to hoping he gets a job sooner rather than later that is both enjoyable and profitable.

I started drawing stick figure comics in college, mostly for friends. After graduation, I pretty much laid off the “art” until recently when, at the behest of some of those friends, I started again.

These are the first four… more to come.

If you happen to know Stan Lee, tell him to watch his back.

First post ever.

Pretty historic, ‘eh?

I didn’t think so either…
